Is there any one in Vancouver that wants to do the trip over Canada |

Keep on trekking. A friend and I made the trip ourselves in '01. Great to hear there are other lunatics out there. We couldn't find anyone who'd done it before we left, but met a few along the way who had done it years before against all odds. Good luck to all and may the wind be at your backs. |

Hi, What a trip that must have been. I wanted and planned for a trip montreal to Los Angeles but ran into a snag with travelling longer than 6 months in US as a tourist. They wanted all kinds of proof that I was not to become a illegal alien there....I've reset my sights on walking Montreal to Vancouver...either this year or early next...in Support of "The Heart and Stroke Foundation" to raise awareness of the dangers caused by a sedentary lifestyle. |

Hey, my friend Reggie and I were actually mentioning this tonight during our conversation and thought I'd check out google to see if anybody actually did such a thing. This link came up first. We are interested in doing this but we're wondering when to start. I see there are other people interested in this so it would be nice to go and explore Canada. lol. We are from Northwestern Ontario so we were talking of starting in Nova Scotia (or PEI?) Either way this walk would pretty much be like a prayer walk. We are Christians and doing this would be something new. I never heard of anybody doing this so it would be something to look into. Anyway, you guys are awesome and hope we can do this too. If anybody wants to email me you can do so by emailing me at turbon_nite@hotmail.com - thanks, Jay |

my friend came across your site and pitched the idea to me. he unlike my self mentioned it in passing like a distant dream idea. the kind that never happens. so i decied to talk it upon myself to make the trek with or with out them. so was wondering if you could anwser for me one of the most comonly asked question on this msg board. " how much do you think it cost you" . gear aside. and trips home. im talking food, laundry and unavodibul ferry crossings.and the ocassional hostal stay to regain body temperatures. Im looking to start my trip from vacouver because it dosnt make sense for me to go the island then back track back agin then through to the rest of the treck. My plans as of yet are not verry solid and more research and prep are needed. but i was wondering if you could give me any info you can to get me started, and bugiting is the first step in my mind so as to not pull an "into the wild" move. thanks in advance you can email me back at tori.smurf@gmail.com
